While there are many good options, I aimed to find a sleeve that perfectly fits the durability, space, and price bracket. In simple words, to have an enclosure that feels more like an investment. My quest landed me an opportunity to personally test and review Mujjo Sleeve for a 13″ MacBook Air and Pro (Retina Display and the following models). I have reviewed other products by Mujjo, including cases for iPhone 12 lineup before. And I truly loved them. Hence, the expectations are higher this time. Let’s find out whether or not the Mujjo Sleeve meets the same.
Review of Mujjo 13″ MacBook Air and Pro Sleeve
Identify the Luxury
The sleeve arrived housed in a cotton canvas bag. And that’s where the brand managed to create its striking first impression. Trust me over it; you would want to keep the bag forever with you. Taking the sleeve out of the cover, I could see a mesmerizing work of craftsmanship. It is designed using compressed felt and vegetable-tanned leather. The combination looks truly luxurious with the texture. Clipping it all securely together is a tanned leather flap with felt-matching rivets. I personally loved the fact that no rivets interrupted its soft-touch experience at any point. Showcasing the brand’s expertise, you won’t be able to take your eyes off the sleeve’s impeccable finishing. Even the coupled stitching that runs through the front, rear, and along the sides is neat and firm. It feels sturdy and plays a crucial role in compressing the thick wool felt, making the sleeve stronger around the edges.
Feel the Felt
Felt is known for its sustainable and renewable attributes. Besides, it is exceptionally durable and water repellent by nature. These together make it perfect for a MacBook Sleeve. The sleeves’ overall thickness measures around 5mm; it constitutes two outer felt layers measuring 3 mm each and an inner separating sheet of 1mm, partitioning storage for Mac and documents. The edges are compressed smartly and clipped at the bottom corners using matching gunmetal alloy grommets. On the one hand, this makes it durable by not passing Mac’s entire weight over the substratum stitching, but on the other hand, you may find this affecting your space inside to an extent. However, it isn’t enough to surpass the durability aspect that artisans at Mujjo considered.
The Outstanding Inside
On the inside, things are pretty simple. Like any other sleeve, you have a dedicated space for Mac and another for documents, earplugs, or other essentials. There’s also an allocated slot to keep your debit/credit cards and an SD card. I own a MacBook Pro with Retina Display (2019 Model), and it slipped quickly inside, leaving sufficient space around the edges. Neither the documents and accessory section nor the slot for cards hinders or directly gets in touch with your Mac. Besides, the grommets and rivets don’t bother your device. Key TakeAways

Our Verdict
Overall, I found the Mujjo Sleeve for a 13” MacBook durable and stylish. There isn’t any doubt that it is designed smartly. However, it can’t be denied that some people are allergic to wool felt fabric, which is used in making this sleeve. So, if you are one of them, this may not be right for you. One last thing, while the company explicitly mentioned on its website that the sleeve is designed to house only the 13″ MacBook Air and Pro with Retina Display or the one that followed, I still tried to fit in my older MacBook Air. And yes, I failed to! If you own a MacBook that meets the listed requirements, this Mujjo sleeve is a smart possession at this price. Check Other MacBook Accessories…
